CBN丨Chinese lenders offer to defer mortgage payments to up to 12 months

Banks in multiple Chinese cities such as Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing and Zhengzhou have launched deferred mortgage repayment services recently to ease the pressure on home buyers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic, with a maximum extension of 12 months, reports said on Monday.
